The Festival D'Avion is a celebration of freedom and flight at the Moore County Airport in Carthage, N.C., located just outside Pinehurst.
Marking its sixth year in 2024, the Festival D’Avion features classic and military aircraft displays, flyovers, precision jump teams, sightseeing tours, classic car displays, live entertainment, a “Junior Pilot” KidsZone, local vendors, food trucks, and fun for the entire family!

Classic Car Aficionados! We’re looking to give you the best possible parking space — inside the field at the Festival D’Avion! As part of our classic Car/Motorcycle Corral, you’ll receive two tickets to the Festival D’Avion, as well as a prime display space to show off your wheels to Festival Guests! Junior Pilot KidsZone
Did we hear somebody say “Free Candy?” Raleigh-based Lamm Events will be on hand with giant inflatables, carnival games, prizes and so much more (for a nominal fee) or get your photo taken with characters from the 501st Legion. Dress up in your Halloween costume and enter into our “Best Costume Contest” with a chance to win some cool stuff, or off on a “Trunk or Treat” treasure hunt sponsored by the Children of Fallen Heroes. Kids 12 & Under Receive Free Admission while accompanied by a paying adult.
