New Date: Spring 2026
The 2025 Festival D’Avion on Saturday November 22nd has been postponed to Spring 2026.
Our priority was safety — for our guests, pilots, volunteers, vendors, and partners. While rain wasn’t the immediate concern, hazardous visibility and additional upcoming weather forecast created unsafe conditions for military and private aircraft to land at Moore County Airport. It was an extremely difficult decision, but one that had to be made to protect everyone involved.
We know how disappointing this was for our attendees — we truly wanted nothing more than to finish out this milestone year with you. The standard policy for the festival is no refunds are issued, so we will roll your ticket over to March 2026. A new date will be announced as soon as possible. All previous ticket purchases will be honored at this later date.

The Festival D'Avion is a Celebration of Freedom and Flight at the Moore County Airport in Carthage, N.C., located just outside Pinehurst.
Marking its seventh year, the Festival D’Avion features classic and military aircraft displays, flyovers, precision jump teams, sightseeing tours, classic car displays, a “Junior Pilot” KidsZone, local vendors, food and beverage options, the largest Halloween Candy giveaway in Moore County and fun for the entire family!

10:00 am- Festival D’Avion Gates Open
10:00 am to 4:00 pm- Static Aircraft Displays, Classic Car Displays, Kids Zone, DJ Music, Trunk or Treat for Kids, Food Trucks, and Military and Vendor Displays
11:00 am to 2:00 pm- Amelia Earhart Pavilion open for lunch VIP (Wristband Required for Entry).
12:30 pm- Opening Ceremonies featuring the 82nd Division All American Chorus, Bullseye Flight Team Flyover, and the Children of Fallen Heroes Precision Jump Team, Presentation of Colors from Civil Air Patrol.
12:35 pm- 82nd Division All-American Chorus performs on the Festival Stage
1:30 pm- Kids Halloween Costume Contest Judging, Presented by Children of Fallen Heroes
2:00-4:00 pm- Children of Fallen Heroes Precision Jump Team - Multiple Jumps!
4:00 pm- Aircraft Flyout
Amelia Earhart Pavilion
Do you want the “VIP Experience” during the Festival D’Avion? Look no further than the “Amelia Earhart Pavilion” VIP Ticket that includes a barbecue lunch of brisket, pulled pork, chicken, and sides, VIP Parking plus access to a cash bar on Saturday. It’s a true “first class” way to experience the Festival D’Avion!
Family Friendly Fun!
Did we hear somebody say “Free Candy?” Raleigh-based Lamm Events will be on hand with giant inflatables, carnival games, prizes and so much more. Dress up in your Halloween costume and enter into our “Best Costume Contest” with a chance to win some cool stuff, or off on a “Trunk or Treat” treasure hunt sponsored by the Children of Fallen Heroes.
Kids 12 & Under Receive Free Admission for the 2025 Festival D’Avion while accompanied by a paying adult.
Might As Well Jump!
Whether you prefer helicopter or small plane, the opportunity to see Moore County from above is certainly an option at the Festival D’Avion! More information will be available about airplane or helicopter sightseeing tours at the 2025 Festival D’Avion at a later date.
